Samuel H Boardman, Oregon Coast Elopement
One of my highlights as a photographer in 2021 was having the privilege to witness my sister get married and photographing her micro elopement in Oregon. In college, I found a class me and Susana could take together that aligned with both our schedules and majors (Iām older and we were studying different things). It was the only class we ever took together and where she met Arju, the man she would marry 6 years later.
With many changes happening from the pandemic, Susy and Arju decided to get legally married in Miami and celebrate by taking a vacation to Oregon for a couple of days to hike and elope on a cliff. She found a dress online for $100, we made the flowers ourselves the day before, and the whole thing was exactly what they had in mind for a perfect elopement.
