Minimalistic Tropical Wedding in Las Caletas, Mexico.

Monica and Michael were a dream. From the moment we met, they treated us like friends and didn’t stress about ANYTHING ( which made their day that more perfect). We met Michael and his groomsmen who included his son, and his two best friends at the Puerto Vallarta harbor the day of their wedding, jumped on a boat, and headed to his wedding in the private beach of Las Caletas (which is only accessible by boat). While the ladies got dolled up in their private room with views of the jungle, the guys hung out in the bar room with and got ready while listening to music and eating guac and chips.

These two decided to spend their first moments together as husband and wife by having a private first look on the rooftop and then headed straight to the beach. They had a very special ceremony with a gorgeous palm leaf backdrop and lots of jungle and ocean surrounding them. My awesome boyfriend (and second shooter) was able to get some aerial views of the ceremony from the rooftop that you must see below!

After their beach portraits, it was time for some delicious Mexican food (which I’m still dreaming of) and we even got to enjoy some cocktails and desserts with the guests. After everyone ate their hearts out, everybody that was invited busted a move or two on the dance floor which made for some super fun photos during reception.

Their wedding was an adventure from beginning to end and I’m so honored I got to celebrate alongside them. Enjoy all the moments I loved from their day below.

xx,

Zulie
